If you’re in your 50’s and he’s in his 70’s, no big deal. You’ve both basically done all the personal growth you’re going to do.

You’ve both gotten your wilder years out of the way, and you’ve both lived full lives with satisfying careers and plenty of travel (hopefully).

My girlfriend Claire and I are similar in a lot of ways, but one way we really differ is in our height; I'm 6'5" and she's like 5' (minus a couple of inches).

Anytime we "forget" the foot and a half difference, strangers are always nice enough to make a comment on the discrepancy, as if they are the first to give us the heads up.

To be your date to your parent’s anniversary party. A young guy might be a lot of fun and you might relate on a lot of levels, but some just might not know how to be a Too young to care He hasn’t been out of college for too long.

I mean, I get the novelty of it but like...don't you think we realize it by now!?

Claire eats half of her entree and I eat all of mine, plus Claire’s leftovers.

More precisely, would it make your relationship easier…or harder?

You can’t watch as they smile, and that smile spreads up into their eyes and transforms their face into one of the most beautiful things you’ve ever seen – a thing that warms your heart and makes you realize you want to spend more time with the person. Unfortunately, the reality is nowhere near that fantasy.
