Netflix xbox instant queue not updating
In order to access Netflix, you still need to use the Xbox 360 controller to select the app under the video menu.The second — and most complained about — problem presents itself inside of the app.When using the Kinect with Netflix you swipe your hand from side to side to scroll though movies and hover over a specific title to select it.But when gamers try to call up a search box, access their instant queue, or browse though different genres of movies they’ll be met with the message “For more choices and search, use your controller.” The only movies that are available to browse using the Kinect are those under the “Suggestions For You” tab.Once you have clicked into the movie/show you want to download, then click on the download icon to the right of the description.The setup is similar to other settop boxes that work with Netflix, requiring you to log into the Netflix Web site from a computer and tie your account to that particular Xbox (you can use your account on up to five hardware devices, but deauthorizing is tricky, so choose wisely).Clicking on the Netflix box in the Video Marketplace row brings up all the item in your Netflix queue, and you can flip through the box covers with the Xbox controller.

As of today, there is no longer an Instant Queue option for streaming customers — it has been replaced by something called "My List," in which Netflix's recommendation algorithm organizes your options into the items you are most likely to want to view immediately. Netflix Streaming user who (like myself) enjoyed accessing your queue on a computer or laptop and manually managing your list, all you have to do off the Netflix homepage is click on the "See All" link next to the "My List" heading, and then click "Change Order to Manual" in the upper right corner.
