Cannot connect to internet validating identity Mobile sex chat websites without registrations
I recently bought a new Linksys wireless router and after setting it up with basic WEP security, I tried to logon from my laptop and was successful! So then I tried to connect from my desktop computer that has a wireless USB adapter attached to it and I ended up getting this error message: Fabulous! I checked my settings on the wireless router to make sure I didn’t accidentally setup certificate security, but found no such thing.
Also, since I was able to connect from my laptop with no problem, it led me to believe it was something wrong with my desktop.
cheere Hadn't read all solutions so I apologize if I'm repeating someone but all I did was go back to Belkin router setup utility, or (192.168.2.1) and clicked "wi fi protected setup".
Then, I selected disable at the "wi fi protected setup (wps)" option.
- Wireless Network Connection Properties says Connect using: Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection - From there, I select the Wireless Networks tab, and select the name of my home network under the Preferred Networks section, then select Properties - 3 tabs then say Association, Authentication, Connection - Association tab: Network name (SSID) - then, name of my home wifi network Wireless network key Network Authentication: (Open, Shared, WPA, or WPA-PSK) -- I select WPA-PSK Data encryption: (TKIP or AES) -- I select AES Network key --- I enter the password we use on the Netgear wifi server When I hit the "Connect" button to connect to the network, it will say, "Please wait while Windows connects to the network" then after several seconds, it will say that it has connected, but then will sit there with a yellow star above the 5 green bars showing wifi signal strength, and just to the left of the star it says "Validating identity" and will stay that way indefinitely. The little status icon that's supposed to indicate your wireless network status in the bottom right of the computer screen (in the taskbar) shows a computer with a yellow dot moving back and forth beneath it.
To fix, you go into the properties page of your wireless connection, go to "Wireless Networks" tab and then to Properties of the chosen wireless network you are trying to connect to.
Then go to "authentification" tab and untick the box saying "Enable IEEE802.1x to the availiable network" and that should solve your problem Graham UKRight, Graham's solution worked for me.
Click on Properties once you select the wireless network that is having problems.
Click on the Authentication tab and now uncheck the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network box.
